FAQs
Do we both need one?
No. One pendant is all you need to feel someone's heartbeat. If you both want to feel each other's, order two. Each Bond Heart works on its own and does not communicate with other pendants.
How does it work?
You record a heartbeat in the Bond Touch app with your phone's camera and flashlight: cover both with a fingertip and the camera reads the pulse from the colour changes in your skin. The recording is sent to the pendant over Bluetooth. Press the front of the heart to feel it.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only to record a heartbeat or send one to another person. Once a heartbeat is on the pendant it plays anywhere, with no internet connection. Bluetooth is only needed to save a new heartbeat to the pendant.
We live apart. How do I get their heartbeat?
In the app, send a heartbeat request to their email address. They get a notification or an email with the app link, record their heartbeat on their own phone, no pendant needed, and send it back. It lands in your library and you save it to your pendant.
How many heartbeats can it hold?
Your library in the app holds as many as you like. The pendant holds one at a time; switch it in the app whenever you want.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 15 days. Charge it on the dock that comes in the box: a blinking red light means charging, solid green means full.
Is it waterproof?
Rated IP67: dust-tight and tested in up to 1 m (3 feet) of still fresh water for 30 minutes. Rain, splashes and handwashing are fine, and it survives a brief accidental dip. Take it off for swimming, hot showers, baths and saunas.
What is in the box?
One Bond Heart pendant, a chain, the charging dock and a USB-C cable. Extra chains in gold, black or silver are sold separately.
Does it work with Bond Touch bracelets?
No. Bond Heart and the Bond Touch bracelets are separate products and do not pair with each other.
Which phones does it work with?
iPhone and Android, with the free Bond Touch app.
Can I use another charger?
Use the Bond Heart charger. Other docks can damage the pendant and the charger.
Can you ship to two different addresses?
Yes, as two separate orders, one per address or country.
